I have been ill - I was in a private general hospital for a week  - my nutrition was failing because of my dental surgery  - no bottom teeth  - it was just so hard to eat  - I have always looked after myself so this was bad

I developed an infection around one of the implants and after 36 hours of not being able to eat anything or take my  medication I went to the ED  - I had IV fluids - pain medication- anti nausea stuff and antibiotics  - I was allergic ro the antibiotics 

I have been home for two weeks today and still recovering on a limited diet  - I am seeing the oral surgeon next week 

I haven't felt up to even reading the forums  - such is life - it has been rough  - I am resting and reading a lot

So sorry to hear about your dental issues. I have one implant and can imagine the pain of an infection. EEEK!

That kind of pain is no fun - that's for sure 

I'm not sorry I've had this done but never again  - whew 

Actually it was good that my daughter and I are talking time out right now  - this event was not something I would have enjoyed criticism or cheering up - it was unpleasant 

I am resting in bed atm - it's really cold in Melbourne today - and I have a good  book
