Re: Cook Along

Oh dear @Shaz51  Hope he feels better soon.

Re: Cook Along

@Shaz51 oh no! Having gallbladder problems myself I completely sympathise with MrShaz. I hope he feels better soon. Can't believe the shepherd's pie is to blame 🤕

Re: Cook Along

@Oaktree you are amazing! I wish I was as clever, I haven't made bread (without a bread maker) since I was in high school. It looks absolutely delicious 😋

Re: Cook Along

Heya @ENKELI !

How are you my dear?

What did you cook today?

Re: Cook Along

Wondering if the mince had too much fat in it 🤔 @tyme , @ENKELI

Re: Cook Along

Did you make it? @Shaz51

Re: Cook Along

@Shaz51 that's a point. I made shepherds pie too a few days ago and there was a fair bit of fat in the mince. I buy the mid range mince from Coles - $12 a kilo. Can't afford the premium stuff. I actually drained off the fat this time but only because it would have made the mixture too wet. Normally I don't.

You don't add turmeric do you?

I didn't know that turmeric is bad for gallstones until I had an attack and the chemist mentioned it. You probably knew that though.

I just hope he is better soon 🙏 😔 💜

Re: Cook Along

@tyme hi sweetie!

I am doing sausage rolls with veg and hash browns. There's a thread on the forums about Tatoes and I am craving all things spud now after reading everyones' fave spud dish.

What have you been up to?

Re: Cook Along

I drained it too @ENKELI tonight

Yes @tyme

Mince

Mixed vegetables. Packet sauce

And mashed potatoes on top , put in oven until brown
